The London Short Film Festival and Animate Projects are proud to announce the winner of the 9th London Short Film Festival Award for Best Experimental Short.

Animate projects said:

“We were pleased to present the Award for the Best Experimental Film to a filmmaker with a unique aesthetic vision who created a film that contained some fantastic surrealistic imagery and intriguing symbolism. We chose to award Fritz Stolberg for his Max Ernst inspired short, OF THIS, MEN SHALL KNOW NOTHING.

We also felt Ruth Paxton deserved a Special Mention for her sensuous and poetic film, BAROQUE”.

The winning film received £150 in cash, courtesy of Animate Projects, and a Lomokino Camera, courtesy of Lomography UK.
