LSFF needs YOU! Download an application form and get it to us by Monday 12th December.

The 9th LSFF is looking for volunteers!

The London Short Film Festival, the city’s most expansive and vital short film festival returns for its ninth year in January (6th - 15th). Screening hundreds of new short films and presenting a range of special events, screenings, retrospectives, networking events and parties, LSFF will host the cream of local filmmaking talent, industry guests and press in venues across the capital. But this won’t be possible without a dedicated team of hard-working volunteers.

This is why LSFF needs YOU!

Working at the festival promises to be an exciting and thoroughly rewarding experience. As a volunteer, you will provide invaluable behind-the-scenes assistance at screenings, great staff events and parties, get a chance to view hundreds of new short films, and have the opportunity to demonstrate your dedication as you go that extra mile to help the festival run smoothly.

The amount of time you give will vary according to the events calendar, and your availability.

In return for your hard work, you will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with a diverse range of UK film industry names as well as like-minded folk who share your passion for contemporary film. In addition, as many of the LSFF staff can testify, involvement in this prestigious event does wonders for your CV. If you impress, who knows what next year’s festival may hold for you.

How to apply

To get involved, please download the application form (PDF) or Word (DOCX) and email this, along with your CV, to us at volunteer@shortfilms.org.uk. The closing date for applications is Monday 12th of December. We look forward to hearing from you!
