We're HIRING: Festival Director

We're seeking a festival director to bring strategy and a creative vision to LSFF's future.

Approaching its 18th edition in 2021, London Short Film Festival is now seeking a professional, creative leader to take LSFF’s vision and support for short form, inclusivity and dynamic events forwards.

The chosen candidate will be instrumental in bringing strategic ideas and creative vision to all LSFF activity, bringing these to fruition via funding and partner relationships, whilst leading and inspiring the LSFF team.

Candidates must have proven fundraising capabilities, excellent multi-tasking skills and a love of short and experimental film and a broader interest in art and culture. We support flexible working locations and hours, and welcome applications from groups under-represented in LSFF – particularly those identifying as BAME, LGBTQI+ and disabled.

Salary: 45k pro rata Hours: 2.5 days per week

Key responsibilities:

You will lead and work closely with the core LSFF team to develop and put in place robust planning and processes for LSFF 2021 and beyond. Managing funding relationships and applications, sponsorship proposals, and ongoing strategic planning are key to the role, as is maintaining relationships with venues, supporters and partners.

Day-to-day you will oversee all staff, programming, recruitment processes and planning across the entire festival structure, as well as taking responsibility for budgeting and financial management.
