Encounters Short Film Festival host Alice Lowe (Sightseers, Gareth Marenghi, Hot Fuzz, The World’s End, Jackal Films) as our After-Dinner Speaker tonight. Alice will be in conversation about her career, as an actress in cinema and TV, and as a writer for her Jackal Films collaborations with filmmaker Jacqueline Wright and for her debut feature project with Steve Oram (in which they both starred), Sightseers.

Encounters Short Film and Animation Festival is the UK’s longest running competitive platform of its kind. The festival champions new talent and is one of the world’s best-known showcases and breeding grounds for emerging creatives.
