12 mins
Charity, a sixteen-year-old girl from a traveling family, wanders aimlessly in her coastal town. Arriving home one night, she is rocked by her mother’s news that her older brother Shaun has been granted an early prison release. Unable to cope with his return, Charity inadvertently causes a number of problems; storming out of Shaun’s ‘welcome back’ party, physically fighting with her younger sister and taking her infant brother to the beach in the middle of the night without permission. Upon acknowledging her own mistakes, and realizing her brother’s ambition to help the family, she finally attempts to reconcile their relationship.
