On the way home from his nightly visit to the pool, a middle-aged swimmer has a chance encounter with a young female hitchhiker. After an unlikely run-in with a musician, the pair end up making a connection beneath the lights of the local Jazz club, capping off a meeting that will leave its indelible mark on them both.
