Set in 1905. A young girl lives an insular life with her widowed mother with only her dollshouse for company. She sees the world through the filter of her mother's eyes until the arrival of her mysterious aunt and cousin. The sensual mother and daughter set her onto a path of self-awakening when she discovers how dangerous a simple game of child's play can be.
