New Shorts #16 Music & Video

We consider the marriage of sound and image in this selection of creative music videos and short films with a dominant musical soundtrack accompanying the images on show. Listen out for music by Esben & the Witch, The Oscillation, and Daedelus, as well as short documentaries on the South-By-South-West Festival in Austin Texas, and Paul McCartney’s debut 1970 solo album.
This programme includes the Kirin ‘First Press’ short film winner The Dreamers by Matt Maude.
This screening includes the Dirty Looks Award for Best Music Short, which will be presented at the end of the screening. The winning film will receive a full package picture grade and mastering for a short film. Including 1 day Baselight grade, DigiBeta and DCP (Digital Cinema) version and data files.
Tickets for this event cost £6 and are available online at the Roxy Bar & Screen website, or on the door on the night.
