To celebrate the launch of Kamera Books’ ‘Short Films: Writing the Screenplay’, author Patrick Nash, award-winning filmmaker and judge for the OSCAR-accredited Foyle Film Festival, will be in conversation with journalist Hannah Patterson. They will be joined by filmmakers whose work is screening in the later Fathers & Sons shorts programme at 19:00, to discuss the entire screenwriting process, including story, structure, character, dialogue, loglines, treatments and screenplay competitions.

Panelists will include: author Patrick Nash; LSFF filmmaker Douglas Hart (LONG DISTANCE INFORMATION); agent Julian Friedman, and Edward Hicks, Head of Film, Television & Radio at RADA. Chaired by Hannah Patterson.

Under discussion will be the entire screenwriting process from story, structure, character and dialogue to loglines, treatments and screenplay competitions.
