New Shorts #23 A Window on the World

British filmmakers spread their wings in search of international stories in this selection of globe-trotting short films. From the beachcombers of Texel in Holland, to the Mai La refugee camp in Thailand; from the stormchasers of Oklahoma, to the orphaned girls of Bethany in Palestine. This varied selection will take you on a journey to distant lands, as well as on an emotional rollercoaster.
Films screening in this section are eligible for the Sheffield Doc/Fest Award for Best Short Documentary, which will be presented at the LSFF Closing Night Awards Ceremony on Sunday 15th January, 2012.
