  • NO HOPAH

    Daniel D. Moses 3 mins (UK, 2012)

Official music video for Punkture Sluts new single, a symphony of the dark and twisted, 'No Hopah' is a trippy and experimental foray into your inner turmoil and fears, being trapped in a horrible and disturbing place in every sense of the word, and an exploration of the idea of the circular narrative to life. Shot in a burnt out location in East London with plenty of Fisheye, the video took influences from George Orwell's Room 101 in 1984 and Alice In Wonderland to establish an unsettling and grimy tone to fit in with the track.

  • SUNFLOWER SUPERMODEL

Pete Karkut 9 mins (UK, 2012)

A sunflower in full bloom is compared with the youth of a woman who's ginger hair matches the colour in the centre of the sunflower. Shot in a way that resembles the unnatural perfection of the advertising world. The decay of the flower mirrors the impermanence of the woman's youth. The film is accompanied by a menacing and meditative score that relies heavily on time-stretching of audio to produce an organic sound-scape. There is a gravity to the audio that matches the theme of decay in the film. The film ends with sounds of blood circulating in the heart and images of the soil that the sunflowers once thrived upon.
