RETROSPECTIVE: Fyzal Boulifa & Taina Galis: Whores and Heroines

Fyzal Boulifa is a British director of Moroccan origin. Working in both UK and Morocco he has made several winning short films, including winning Cannes Directors Fortnight twice with the Morocco-set The Curse (2012) and the controversial Rate Me (2015).
Taina Galis is a Romanian born cinematographer who studied at FAMU Film & TV Academy Of Performing Arts in Prague. She has worked with Fyzal as both cinematographer and editor on a number of his projects, and as a producer on Rate Me (2015). She has also shot features and shorts for filmmakers such as Andrea Luka Zimmerman, Emily Wardill, Kanchi Wichmann, Claire Oakley, Laure Provost, PinnyGrylls, and Catriona MacInnes.
Both Fyzal and Taina will join us for a Q&A following the screening.
