NEW SHORTS: International: I'll Be Your Mirror: Tales of the Uncanny

21:00 Fri 15 Jan 2016

Hackney Picturehouse (screen TBC)

A party with no invitees, a far-off world populated with rampant sex beasts, a detective consumed with a fevered psycho-sexual religious ecstacy. Since the early days of cinema the uncanny has been fertile ground for filmmakers seeking to explore the mysterious and unreal. With this screening eight filmmakers join the likes of Bunuel and Lynch in trying to make the unknown known.
