Some  of the most powerful short films of recent years have reached completion with due to international collaboration in the form of co-production funding, international labs and the film festival circuit. Helping to bring together different people, worlds and stories to create a very strong link between countries, this cross border collaboration has resulted in filmmaking that is truly global in its outlook. In light of recent political events throughout the world, programmers from international short film festivals discuss how international collaboration has impacted their latest programs.
