Who is Diane Chorley? In her own words: “I was born in Canvey on the coldest day of the year. Mum said I was steaming when I came out. She was a good woman, hands like iron files she had, teeth like crackling.” 

A nightclub owner on the glamorous Canvey Island strip in Essex, Diane has a shady but colourful past she likes to share on stage, through the medium of song. 

Discussion with Diane Chorley AKA David Selley. David Selley, formerly of the band A Human, is the creative mastermind behind Diane Chorley. He’s made documentaries, chat shows and music videos to promote the her return from incarceration and he’ll be showing us some of her on screen highlights and what is in store for her future. Followed by a live set of some of Diane’s original songs.
