NEW SHORTS: Global Movements

A look at the ongoing refugee crisis through drama, documentary and animation. Both harrowing and life-affirming in equal measure. We visit camps in Libya, Palestine and on the harbours of Greece to experience life as a refugee. And closer to home, we experience immigration fears from a north England council estate to more curtain-twitching suburban and rural areas.

He returned with a heroin addiction to life in a camp being torn apart by internal strife and the encroachment of war from Syria. Against all odds he decides to marry his childhood sweetheart; a love story, bittersweet as the camp itself. -
