NEW SHORTS: Global Movements

18:30 Thu 12 Jan 2017

Hackney Picturehouse

A look at the ongoing refugee crisis through drama, documentary and animation. Both harrowing and life-affirming in equal measure. We visit camps in Libya, Palestine and on the harbours of Greece to experience life as a refugee. And closer to home, we experience immigration fears from a north England council estate to more curtain-twitching suburban and rural areas.
