Supporting emerging artists moving image, With Teeth - **the commissioning fund from the London Short Film Festival supported by Arts Council England** - premieres three new short works, accompanied by each artist’s influences and inspirations.
PREMIERE: YOUR MOTHERS ARE MINE! ****dir. Kim Noce
A beautifully realised animated work exploring the complexities of the mother-daughter relationship.
- An experimental multimedia live performance with music by Paradise Yard Ensemble and projected live animation drawn by Noce, expanding the themes of the film through improvisation.
PREMIERE: IMAM PESMU DA VAM PEVAM/I HAVE A SONG TO SING YOU dir. Zoe Aiano
A wild and delicate documentary peeling back the layers of a life spent communicating with the dead.
+ **Further Work *dir. Zoe Aiano, showcasing her talent for visual ethnography on the border between documentary and art, social practice and experimentation. Including exclusive character excerpts from Imam Pesmu; Beautiful and Strange and New (2014) and in progress project Krampuskopf* (2018).
PREMIERE: UNKNOWN PLEASURE dir. Tash Tung
A multi-screen fiction exploring the multiplicities of the image and female domesticity.
