NEW SHORTS: In My Skin

13:00 Sat 11 Jan 2020

ICA Cinema 1

Ruminations on struggling to fit in and feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. These tender vignettes consider the physical and mental strains of alienation and the fight to be understood.

Oscillating from heartwarming to heartbreaking, these films juggle the complexity of emotions when struggling to integrate - from challenging the stoicism of rural and urban masculinities, to the darkly comic experience of dating with Tourettes. Featuring thoughtful turns from Will Merrick (Skins), Emma MacKey (Sex Education) and Neil Bell (Peterloo). Programmed by Philip Ilson 94’

This programme contains sexual abuse, rape and bloody violence
