14:00 Wed 15 Jan 2020
In partnership with Oska Bright Film Festival and British Film Institute, LSFF presents a selection of diverse, contemporary short film from this year’s festival - from Loyle Carner’s affectionate ode to Middle Eastern cuisine to Lanre Malaolu Hackney-made mini-dance epic.
With documentary and lighter comedy notes, there’s something for all tastes, curated with accessibility and conversation in mind. Short film-related discussions to follow! 60’
Relaxed screening adjustments will be made to ensure a sensory-friendly and inclusive environment designed for cinema-goers with a range of conditions such as autism, sensory sensitivities, learning disabilities, anxiety and dementia.
Doors will open 30 minutes before the start time and no trailers will be shown. Customers are able to choose their own seats in the auditorium, but specific seating requests can be accommodated. Lights will remain on a low level throughout the screening and the volume will be turned slightly down. Moving around in the auditorium and making noise is encouraged and there will be a safe space for customers to use if they need to leave the auditorium.
Anyone who might benefit from a relaxed cinema environment is welcome.
