NEW SHORTS: U OK hun?

16:30 Sat 18 Jan 2020

Regent Street Cinema

A cross-section of the various lives circulating Web 2.0 - from the mire of the Amazon comments section, through the hyper-connectivity of online adolescence and into the secret depths of BDSM cyberspace.

These shorts dig into the subjective realities that occur between the banalities of the day-to-day and those same experiences distilled through the ether. Digital textures and acid-hued animations take on broken hearts, loneliness and the tricksy dynamics of tight-knit subcultures. Programmed by Philip Ilson. 96’

This programme contains attempted suicide.
