Kate Jessop

2 mins
A playful abstraction of stop motion and found footage juxtaposed with the visual language of symmetry in traditional Islamic pattern. Working within digital narrative, the piece explores the re-appropriation of British symbolism within an Eastern context. Created and showcased at Halka Artist Residency and Contemporary Art Istanbul 2014.
