Metamorphosis 2012 was commissioned to celebrate the National Gallery's exhibition of the same name. The exhibition was centered around the three world famous Titian paintings depicting Ovid 's classical tale of Actaeon the Hunter and Diana the Goddess. Actaeon surprises the Goddess bathing naked in a forest pool. The punishment for his audacity is to be turned into a stag and consumed by his own hounds. This film re-imagines that fateful encounter and is re-set in a hunting lodge somewhere in Europe, anytime in the last 100 years.
