An innocuous kids’ football game becomes a scene of aggression and loss of control. Separate worlds collide. Minor acts of rebellion are perceived as dark threat by someone who has never known what it is to exist on the other side of the demarcated lines. The film captures the way tragedy can suddenly puncture the banality of everyday life.
