The Bird is a collaboration between Scottish Ballet and Scottish Album of the Year Award-winner Kathryn Joseph. Directed by in-house filmmaker and graphic designer Eve McConnachie and filmed on location on a desolate Scottish beach, The Bird features Scottish Ballet dancer Sophie Laplane performing her own choreography, devised specifically to reflect the fragility and melancholy of Joseph's distinctive voice.
