12:00 Tue 14 Jan 2020

Rich Mix The Stage

Nollywood is the second largest producer of films in the world, characterised by low budgets, limited production values and storylines made for African audiences. Hosted by curator and author Nadia Denton, this panel discusses the depiction of Nigeran experience on-screen, the deprivileging of a Eurocentric gaze, and the potential for international crossover success.

With panellists from all corners of the industry:

  • Larry Achiampong (artist filmmaker Finding Fanon, Relic 3)
  • Tomisin Adepeju (filmmaker, Appreciation, The Good Son)
  • Victoria Thomas (Polkadot Factory)

£6 Session Ticket / £10 Day Ticket (2 x sessions) / £35 Week Pass (All sessions) / £2 Low income session tickets (Must be booked in advance)
