HOW TO DEAF

18:20 Fri 17 Jan 2020

BFI Southbank NTF3

Now a yearly staple, we return with short films meditating on the D/deaf experience from an eclectic roster of both D/deaf and hearing storytellers. This year’s programme navigates the ‘in between’ - from the grey areas of unspoken language to the vibrations of club life, to silent brotherly bonds formed and solace found in the cacophony of the city.

Guest programmed by LSFF Deaf Programmer, Zoë McWhinney. There will be full access provision for D/deaf and Hard of Hearing cinema-goers at this screening, including captions, BSL with English interpretation and Speech to Text Reporting (STTR). 79’
