INDUSTRY: Politicising Form: Artist Filmmakers in Conversation
15:00 Fri 17 Jan 2020
Join a host of artist filmmakers in conversation as we discuss the benefits of experimental forms as a means of communicating socially and politically pertinent issues. Existing on the fringes of popular cinema, this panel considers the benefits of engaging smaller audiences in bigger conversations, and whether there is a capacity for artist film to make tangible change.
With a panellist of artist filmmakers:
- Kamal Aljafari (Recollection, Port of Memory)
- Morgan Quaintance (Another Decade, Early Years)
- Andrea Luka Zimmerman (Erase and Forget, Here for Life)
- Hosted by Miranda Mungai (Documentary Programmer, LSFF)
£6 Session Ticket / £10 Day Ticket (2 x sessions) / £35 Week Pass (All sessions) / £2 Low income session tickets (Must be booked in advance)
LSFF makes accessbility and inclusivity core to our industry events. To ensure we provide a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone, we operate a safe space policy that can be found on our Access page.
