DOTF2013

The 10th London Short Film Festival

31st May 2013
— 2nd June 2013

Did you enjoy the London Short Film Festival back in January?

Rather than waiting a full year for the next one, you can join us in the summer sun (yes, it’s gonna be a hot one, so we’ve been told!) in the English countryside for a boutique short film ‘mini-break’ from Friday 31st May - Sunday 2nd June 2013. Join a host of 70 participants alongside filmmakers, industry partners and live entertainment for a weekend of film, discussion and networking, all in the beautiful idyllic surroundings of the Darent Valley.

Taking place at the Quadrangle Trust, at Home Farm just outside Shoreham in Kent, which is a short, inexpensive train ride from London, but feeling a million miles away! The Victorian farmstead buildings, including a majestic timber roofed hay barn for the sessions, are surrounded by peaceful countryside and beautiful gardens. Accommodation is camping, or there are local hotels and B&Bs.

Inspired by the Quadrangle Documentary Film Festival (taking place for the third time at the same location, 6 – 8 September), as well as drawing on LSFF Director Philip Ilson’s work with the rural aspects of the Branchage Film Festival in Jersey using alternative sites to create new film experiences.
